Naomi Atherton
I've always loved the Historic Environment, the 'Sense of Place', long before we knew that term could be defined. My CV looks like it should have been planned, but it wasn’t, opportunities came along at the right time, and these took me to English Heritage (three times now!) The National Lottery Heritage Fund (HLF as it was then) The North of England Civic Trust, The Science Museum Group and into the private sector with Turner & Townsend, Summers Inman and Steel River Consultants.
I bring my background as a Conservation driven Project Manager developing projects from concept through to delivery, across many different types of projects from construction and conservation repair, through to community and volunteer engagement. I offer Project and Programme Management, working directly with clients or with other disciplines across the sector.
I am a warm and engaged project professional, bringing a wealth of experience to the sector, whilst creating positive environments in order to drive projects forwards. I have a depth of experience in the public, private and third sectors, which enables me to really understand different drivers, priorities and focus for clients and other colleagues within the sector.
